NEC Makes It Personal

What is it that makes the NEC Showcase so unique and drives people to return year after year?

COLLABORATION

The Showcase is not just another trade show, there are no individual stands. Built on the principle of quality and relevance, we ask the leading ‘best in class’ solutions providers in the industry to collaborate to create fully integrated end-to-end solutions within real-life scenarios to educate and inspire. It is not unusual to find up to 6 solutions partners collaborating to create one solution.

RELEVANCE

Most businesses have made some investment in displays or projection. The Showcase aims to show how this market is maturing and how new technology can help with customer engagement, collaboration, audience analysis and creating a more relevant and personal experience.

EXPERIENCE

An experiential event, the NEC showcase delivers more than your average exhibition – we create an immersive encounter, a spectacle, and more than ever this year - a personal experience. The venue goes a long way to providing a theme and delivering that experience and we are proud to be associated with the Olympic Legacy at this year’s venue, an iconic landmark in British Olympic history.

What personal experiences will I encounter at the 2014 NEC Solutions Showcase?

We don’t want to give the game away, you can’t experience anything without being there, but here are a few teasers to whet your appetite . . .

You know who I am, show me where to go

Intelligent way-finding solutions from Omnivision Studios enhance and personalise your experience at the NEC Showcase. See how the power of way-finding and interactive signage can be translated across vertical sectors as you navigate the Showcase.

Is she talking to me?

Directional speakers from Brown Innovations enhance the experience of a signage deployment, enabling interesting new opportunities to capture the attention of potential customers.

Is that my coffee?

Order your coffee on the touch screen . . . don’t worry, we’ll let you know when it’s ready. Coffee gets personal at Scala’s coffee station.

WOW, impressive signage

Sometimes it is the size that counts when you want to make a big impression. PSCo's 380 degree, 36 screen curved videowall delivers huge impact with very high resolution images and video. Collaborating with GreenHippo, Matrox and other Solutions Partners, this impressive installation with game playing gesture control lengthens dwell time demonstrating the huge potential this solution may offer across all vertical sectors.

I’ve lost my Senses

NEC is a huge supporter of Sense, the AV industry’s nominated charity for deafblind people. Experience what it might be like to be deafblind - can you play golf, or ride a bike?

Is she off the tele?

What better way to demonstrate our broadcast solutions with Future Software. Layla Anna-Lee, Sky presenter, voice of the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony and supporter of Sense, presents from a mock up studio to broadcast across the venue.

On yer bike

Enjoy a track bike experience following in the cycle tread of our multi-medal winning Olympic heroes. Michael Hutchinson, British racing cyclist and supporter of Sense, demonstrates the Ultrabike.
